Medical IT and CE CollaborationI read the above press release and could not help but to comment that although this is something that is coming whether we want it or not, there has been this great divide between Clinical Engineering and IT. I have experienced bad attitudes a time or two coming from both departments about working together. Either CE tell IT its their issue or vice versa. Do I support the collaboration, of course. But I do realize that before any integration plan is put in place, there should be a plan to ease the transition and fix the personality conflicts. Maybe we should all have a come to Jesus meeting? What do you think?
