| Has anyone on this forum ever attempted the exam? Other than the moderators of course. How indepth does it go as far as electronics knowledge? _________________ J.C. Newell

| I've taken it,it is very diverse.Make sure to polish up on anatomy as well as basic electronics. It's a hard test to study for, as it is unlikely you will take the same test twice. Good luck! |

| I know that they do have it A&P along with about 50 other modules. However, if you're not a premium member, you have to wait until they show the subject you want. But Premium Members can group together and request modules to view. _________________ J.C. Newell

| I took CBET on November 7 and passed the exam. It was my second trial and it was quite easy compare to my May exam. However, some medical equipment questions such as Ventilator, ESU, and code & regulation were not easy. In addition, there were many questions related computer. For example, BIOS, CMOS chip, EEPROM, and networking problem. If you have any questions about CBET, feel free to contact me. I will share my experience. Tedd Koh teddkoh@ca.rr.com |

| Hey there tkoh, Can you give me just a brief example of the general question format? I'm just wondering if the wording is going to be a straight shot, or if the questions are overly wordy or full of jargon. Lemme know. _________________ -Shall there be truth between us, as two men? | Hi! Greg, THe CBET questions are very straight forward not wordy or full of jargon. However some of questions are very long, but if you use your common sense, you can answer them without struggling. For example, It is Friday afternoon. You got 4 service calls from different department. Which service you should take care of the afternoon before going home. 1) Patient Monitor in Emergency Room, 2) Monitor of Anesthesia in OR 3) Treadmil in Rehabilitation, 4) Otoscope in general care I answered (1) because the monitor in ER will be used during weekend and the other machines may not be used during the weekend. If you have further questions, let me know. |

| Not so bad. Kind of a easy elimination, followed by a pick the 'best' answer. I might have picked the multigas analyzer in the OR, but it's hard to say. Thanks for the heads up tokh. _________________ -Shall there be truth between us, as two men? Not as friends, but as equals? There is an offer you will get rarely, Roland.
